HEALTH AND SAFETY
Your health and safety at the 2021 Nothing Bundt Cakes Conference in Las Vegas is our #1 priority. As you may be aware, the CDC, Clark County and the State of Nevada recently released updated COVID-19 guidelines, which affect our event:
- The CDC reversed course earlier this week, saying fully vaccinated Americans in areas with “substantial and high” transmission should wear masks indoors when in public as COVID-19 cases rise. Las Vegas is in this category.
- In response to the above, the State of Nevada, Clark County, and the Wynn Las Vegas will adopt the CDC’s updated mask guidelines effective Friday, July 30.
- The new mask guidelines will go into effect at 12:01 AM Friday, July 30. With that, all Conference participants (attendees, staff, vendors, and suppliers) will be required to wear a mask while in any indoor public space, including the Conference area. This overrides Clark County’s employee mask mandate, which went into effect nearly two weeks ago.
Based on the above guidelines, and our goal of creating an event that brings joy to each attendee in a safe and welcoming environment, the following measures are in place:
- Masks required for all participants
- Social distancing measures implemented at the Awards Celebration, General Sessions and Breakout Sessions (8 vs.12 person rounds, 4ft vs 3ft aisles)
- Individual boxed and plated meals
- “Social Distancing” and “Health and Safety” signage installed
- Hand Sanitizing Stations installed across the Wynn Hotel, Casino and Conference space
- Sanitizing high-touch areas
- Comfortability Wristbands – we will offer the ability to show your Social Distancing comfortability level
- Onsite Conference COVID compliance coordinator
- Support with COVID symptom protocols (see below “If you become ill while at the conference”)
- Positive COVID case communication strategy
