Join us Monday, July 21 for the Golf Tournament at Texas Rangers Golf Course
DETAILS
The Tournament is a scramble, with a shot-gun start at 7:30 AM, please plan to arrive by 7:15am. The playing format is a TEAM SCRAMBLE EVENT.
- All players tee off from their designated tees.
- The team then selects the best tee shot, and all team members play their next shot from that position.
- Each team member must place his/her ball within one club length from the ball chosen, no closer to the hole.
- This process continues throughout until the ball is holed.
Entry into the tournament is $180 (when not included as part of a sponsorship package).
CLUBS
Golf club rentals are available for $86.91 per golfer (including taxes and fees) and include a sleeves of balls. Rentals should be purchased in advance through the registration site.
If you are bringing your own clubs, please make sure you have a bag tag with your name and contact information on it. If you store your clubs at the bell desk prior to the Tournament, please make sure you retrieve them and bring them with you to the shuttle bus on Monday morning.
RULES
• USGA Rules will govern all play.
• All out of bounds are marked by white stakes, boundary fences and curbs of street.
• Each player must have his/her own set of clubs and bag.
• Maximum of 2 players and 2 bags per cart.
• Please keep all carts on cart paths around tees, greens and all Par-3s.
• Yardage on sprinkler head is to the center of the green.
• Cart path markings represent (yards): Gold-250, Blue-200, White-150, Red-100
ETIQUETTE - EVERY PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
• Proper attire must be worn at all times.
• Players are reminded to sand divots and repair ball marks.
• Soft spikes or tennis shoes are strongly recommended.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Boxed lunches are being served during the tournament, but players are free to purchase beverages and snacks from the course beverage carts servicing the tournament.
THE COURSE
Arlington Golf and the Texas Rangers have partnered to build the world’s only Major League Baseball-branded golf course — the Texas Rangers Golf Club — which opened in 2019. Open to the public daily and site of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Veritex Bank Championship, the course earned “Best New Course” acclaim by the Dallas Morning News in 2020, and was also named the second-best renovation in the world by Golf Inc., in 2019.
TRANSPORTATION
On your registration form, you can indicate if you plan to take the provided shuttle or if you will make your own travel arrangements to the golf course.
Shuttle departures to the Rangers golf course are listed below. If you selected to bring your golf clubs, please make sure you pick them up for the bellmen stand prior to boarding the bus.
- Departure 1: 6:30 AM – This departure is available for anyone who would like to utilize the driving range prior to the tournament starting.
- Departure 2: 6:50 AM – If you do not plan to utilize the driving range, please take the 6:50am departure.
NbC FAMILY FUND
This year during the Golf Tournament we are raising funds for the NbC Family Fund. The sole purpose of the Family Fund is to aid all Team Members of the NbC system and their families who are impacted by an emergency, disaster, or personal hardship, including situations involving death, medical emergency, financial emergency, and physical or natural disasters.
In an effort to raise money for the Nothing Bundt Cakes Family Fund, mulligans will be available for purchase for $5. You can purchase up to a max of 2 at registration. We will also offer raffle tickets for $5 per ticket for a chance to win prizes. All proceeds go towards the Family Fund.
